Becci and Tom love the literary classics and wanted to incorporate this into their wedding while keeping the flowers feeling suitable for a winter season.
They chose to get married in the beautiful grade one listed Georgian manor of Crowcombe Court, a setting that oozes Jane Austen vibes.
Becci wanted a bouquet that felt right for the era so we designed her a naturally trailing bouquet filled with garden roses, delicate wax flower and clematis.
The main doors offered the back drop to the ceremony in the impressive entrance hall and we flagged the doors with two regency style urns on plinths. The couple didn’t want these to feel too ‘floral’ or overly grand so we used lots of twiggy elements to accent the season and deep burgundy flowers peppered with lighter pink roses.
For the table centrepieces we really had the opportunity to play with their theme. On each round table we used a stack of old books, around these we added woodland elements of pine cones and moss and antique medicine bottles with small flowers. The centrepieces we finished off by the addition of gorgeous paper flowers made by the brides family out of pages from books.
