When I first heard of Olivia and Pete’s wedding plans, I’m not going to lie, I got super excited. But not as excited as when I started seeing the pictures back from this day - OH MY!
Olivia and Pete, as I came to discover were real history fans and love cosplaying through the era’s of time. In fact for their wedding they went from the Victorian era (Pete might correct me here) all the way back to the Medieval times.
Olivia’s bridal bouquet needed to have an air of theatricals to it to match her long trailing ballgown dress. We made something that felt wild and abundant, full of naturally trailing greenery, deep burgundy tones and trailing amaranthus.
At their reception at the Bishops Palace it was all about calling in those medieval vibes. In the very suitable Undercroft we adorned their long banqueting tables with trailing foliage and salt bottle vases of grasses and burgundy flowers. However the wow factor in the room came from the huge canopy that we made over the length of the top table. Filled with greenery, trailing amaranthus, smoke bush and ivy, plus a twinkling of fairy lights. We wanted the look to feel gathered, celebratory, not overly polished, but still grand. Fit for a King and Queen.

From the couple:
“Thank you for the truly incredible wedding flowers. The undercroft in the palace looked absolutely magical - all our guests were stunned.”
