The Silver Cake
Sam and Neil got married on a glorious late summer day in September. After having to postpone their wedding three times due to covid it felt imperative that this wedding felt well worth the wait. Initially Sam was keen on going for a classic white wedding vibe for her flowers, however after our discussions it became clear that she loves colour and we agreed that her flowers should match her vibrant personality. We settled on a colour palette that reflected the late summer sunsets - peaches, yellows, oranges and a hint of lilac. Our flower choice reflected this with beautiful in season dahlias, chrysanthemums and cosmos.
The couple got the outdoor wedding they were dreaming off at Hunstile Organic Farm nr. Bridgwater. We lined the steps to their ceremony with wild meadows that were later reutilised along the bottom of the top table, and added two colourful sprays of flowers to the white arch. The guest tables were kept simple but effective with bud vases, log slices and coloured T-light holders (hired through us). We also provided the flowers for the spectacular naked cake by The Silver Cake.
Sam commented after the wedding:
"Our flowers were absolutely glorious. I adored them. We have literally taken every single stem home. It just looked beautiful, thank you so much, I was so chuffed"
